    You have the opportunity to participate in recertification sessions offered this year in Muskingum County. There are two sessions that start with three hours of Pesticide credits and end with 1 hour of fertilizer credits. A third opportunity is a available for fertilizer applicators credits only. If you have both a Pesticide License and a Fertilizer Certification you will need a total of 4 hours of training. This year we are also offering a 3 hour training for anyone who need Fertilizer Certification in lieu of taking the exam.

    What Everyone Should Know To Stop the Bleed After an Injury

    Free community training on initial bleeding control. With increasing prevalence of mass casualty situations, as well as the general risk to all individuals around farm machinery, kitchen equipment, hunting equipment and other traumatic injuries, this training provides all participants with the knowledge and hands-on training to save a life by controlling life-threatening bleeding.

    No previous training or experience is necessary.

    The goal of the Ohio Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) program is to increase the competitive base for marketing Ohio cattle. Beef Quality Assurance is a program to ensure that beef and diary cattle are maintained in a manner which will result in a safe and wholesome beef product for the consumer.  The Ohio BQA program is set to meet or exceed the NCBA BQA Guidelines. OSU Extension is offering these workshops to address the industry demand for certification.
