2026 Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator Recertification

Private pesiticide applicators and fertilizer applicators have two opportunities to attend recertification classes in Muskingum County in 2026. There are two sessions that start with three hours of Pesticide credits and end with one hour of fertilizer credits. If you have both a pesticide license and fertilizer certification you will need a total of four hours of training.

Class sessions for 2026 are:

Tuesday, February 10

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM 

205 N. Fifth Street, Zanesville, OH

Zanesville Muskingum Conference and Welcome Center

or

Thursday, February 19

6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

225 Underwood St, Zanesville, OH

OSU Extension Office

 

Pre-registration is expected. There is a $35.00 fee for the class. Register and pay online or by check with enclosed registration form 3 days prior to session you will attending. An online registration option is available at go.osu.edu/pesticideapp.


This fee is in addition to the $30.00 license fee that is paid separately to the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Send $30.00 renewal fee to:
8995 East Main Sreet, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. After participating in recertification session. Bring your pesticide license number with you to the meeting.

In case of bad weather, call the office at 740-454-0144 to see if meeting has been postponed. Notice of closure will also be posted on our website.
