About Horticulture in Muskingum County
Horticulture is an important part of agriculture in Muskingum County. The county is home to several retail garden centers, landscaping firms, turf care businesses and greenhouses. The “green” industry is becoming an increasingly important component of agriculture in Ohio. Muskingum County is also home to a number of fruit and vegetable enterprises. Most are family-operated small businesses that retail their produce at farm markets or one of several farmers markets located in the county.
